The railway of Moscow - Vladivostok is the longest train route in the world, stretching from Moscow Yaroslavsky train station to Vladivostok which is the most important city in the far east of Russia. As the capital of Russia, Moscow is Russian’s political, economic, cultural, financial and transportation center.

The Trans-Russian Railway refers to the whole route from Moscow to Vladivostok, attracting many visitors each year to take this train, as it can be regarded as the most famous and mysterious railway line in the world.

The total length of Moscow - Vladivostok is about 9259 kilometers (5753 miles) and the duration is 144-166 hours, depending on different trains which you take. This railway line opened to public in 1966 and it made its first trip in 1966 as well.

As the longest railway line in the world, Moscow-Vladivostok line passes by Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Yekaterinburg, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude, Khabarovsk and finally reaches Vladivostok.

Transfer to the railway station, depart from Moscow to Yekaterinburg by train.

2 DAY: YEKATERINBURG
Evening arrival in Yekaterinburg, transfer to the hotel.

Transfer to the railway station, depart from Krasnoyarsk to Irkutsk by train.

8 DAY: LISTVYANKA
Morning arrival in Irkutsk, transfer to Listvyanka on the bank of Lake Baikal, accommodation in hotel.

With the walk along the Angara river and the visit to the district of wooden houses.

Visit to the art gallery and the shaman stone on the angara river, visit to the architectural and ethnographic museum of Taltsy; transfer by boat to port Baikal, a short trip along the Circum-Baikal railway on the shore of lake Baikal.

9 DAY: LISTVYANKA
Free day at Lake Baikal.
Transfer to Irkutsk railway station, depart from Irkutsk to Ulan-Ude by train.

10 DAY: ULAN-UDE
Morning arrival in Ulan-Ude, free time, depart from Ulan-Ude to Chita by train.

11 DAY: CHITA
Morning arrival in Chita, free time, transfer to the railway station, depart from Chita to Blagoveshchensk by train.

12 DAY: DAY IN THE TRAIN
Day on board the train, passing by taiga and several little settlements such as Shilka, Erofey Pavlovich, Skovorodino.

Morning arrival in Blagoveshchensk, transfer to the hotel. Free time.

Transfer to the railway station Belogorsk, depart from Belogorsk to Vladivostok by train.
