Day 1. Moscow

We invite you to take an exciting sightseeing trip through the center of the capital. Its route includes the most striking sights and beautiful Moscow locations, so that in a few hours you will get the most complete picture of the past and present of the city, as well as experience true aesthetic pleasure. You will see how this city has an evening look, admire the ensemble of Red Square and the Bolshoi Theater, see the picturesque embankments and much more.

Day 2. Moscow – Sergiev Posad – Ratmanovo – Uglich

Visit to Trinity monastery in Sergiev Posad on the way
The history of the monastery is associated with key events in the history of our country and with the names of famous figures of Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian state. The excursion will introduce you to the shrines, architecture and sights of one of the most famous Russian monasteries, the largest center of Russian spiritual culture and enlightenment. You will learn about the life of the founder of the monastery-one of the most revered Russian saints, St. Sergius of Radonezhsky.

Cycling to Uglich. City tour of Uglich. Volga river. Kremlin, museum of Russian Vodka

You will make a fascinating journey through time - from the X century to the present. Visit the heart of ancient Uglich - the Uglich Kremlin and its monasteries. You will take a ride through the cozy old streets and find out what happened there, hear a story about the mysterious death of the last tsarevich of the Rurik dynasty - Dmitry, hear how Uglich lives today and how it differs from other cities of the country. And the Uglich land is also the birthplace of the famous Piotr Smirnov, who is called the vodka king of Russia. It was he who founded the world-famous brand to this day. Here you will visit the Museum of the History of Russian Vodka.

Day 3. Uglich – Myshkin

Visit to the Museum of hydropower, where you will learn about the history of the hydro-power industry of our country from the beginning of its origin to the present day.

A bicycle tour of the city will allow you to understand all the charm of Myshkin. You will find unique panoramas of the Volga and Yukhoti, travel along the remains of the cobblestone pavement of the XVIII century. In Myshkin, they try to work on authenticity, so you can admire the preserved merchant houses with carved platbands and other interesting buildings. You will see the city's "Red" Square and the Lower Boulevard, get acquainted with the famous Assumption Cathedral. Russian Valenki Museum will tell you a lot of interesting things about the process of making valenki, about how the great Russian sovereigns treated valenki. How valenki treated hangovers, colds and rheumatism, how the bride's valenki chose the groom.

Day 4. Myshkin – Rybinsk

Rybinsk is a picturesque city on the shore of the largest man-made sea in Europe, the Rybinsk reservoir. Let's get to know this city better! We will admire the buildings of merchants and industrialists, the monumental Fire Tower in the Art Nouveau style. We will see the New and Old Building of the Grain Exchange, the largest in Russia. We will pass by countless temples erected by Rybinsk merchants and visit one of the local museums.

Day 5. Rybinsk – Tutaev – Yaroslavl

We invite you to visit the ancient Russian city that arose in 1283 – Tutaev. This city is located on seven hills, seven ravines, seven pure springs. And this is not just a beautiful metaphor. This is what the locals say about their city. This is a relic city, a kind of open-air museum. Picturesque silhouettes of churches, overshadowed by gardens and parks, clearly stand out against the background of coastal hills and create a bright architectural and natural ensemble – one of the most poetic and memorable among the ancient cities of the Upper Volga.

Day 7. Yaroslavl – Vyatskoe

Vyatskoye village - winner of the contest «the Best village of Russia». You will plunge into the atmosphere of the largest shopping village of Yaroslavl. Day 8. Vyatskoe – Kostroma

During a sightseeing tour of the city, you will be able to see the center of Kostroma - one of the best examples of Russian urban planning art. First of all, there is a complex of Kostroma trading rows located on the main square and on the descent from the square to the Volga: Red and Big flour rows, Gingerbread, Tobacco, Butter, Fish and others. Also, you will admire the monuments of history and architecture, one of which is the Kostroma female operating Epiphany monastery of St. Anastasia, with its main shrine - the miraculous icon of the Mother of God «Fedorovskaya». You will also visit the Kostroma Architectural Ethnographic and Landscape Museum-Reserve «Kostroma Sloboda» - one of the oldest open-air museums in Russia.

Day 9. Kostroma – Plyos – Suzdal

Founded in the early 12th century as a fortress, this city has become an important part of the history of Russia. Plyos is the «pearl of the Volga» - a city that knows how to surprise. Here you will be greeted by picturesque hills, lush trees, curved streets and ancient temples. You will hear stories about the Plyos land and its main attractions, become the keeper of local legends.

Day 10. Suzdal

In Suzdal everything is like on a postcard. People come here to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of an old Russian city, ideally blended with the classic Russian landscape with vast fields, river bends and hills. Suzdal counting more than 200 historical monuments, many of which are UNESCO Heritage sites. Visit Trading Rows and the Trading square, the Suzdal Kremlin, the Spaso-Ephimy monastery and listen to the concert of church bell music, visit the museum of wooden architecture with the buildings of the 17-19th century, enjoy the panorama of the city from the observation platform Ilyinsky lug.

Day 11. Suzdal – Bogolyubovo – Vladimir – Moscow

Andrey Bogolyubsky's castle is a white-stone masterpiece, the oldest building on the territory of the Holy Bogolyubsky monastery, built on the site of the former princely residence in 1158. It contains a unique relic-the icon of the Mother of God, considered the first written image of the virgin Mary in Russia. White stone temple on a green hill. The Church of the Intercession on the Nerl, near Vladimir – is one of the most famous monuments of ancient Russian architecture. This miracle, preserved from the XII century, is also called the Swan-temple.

Vladimir is the old capital of north-eastern Rus’. Visit the city’s sights dating back to the 12th century: the Golden Gates, symbolizing the grandeur and power of the ancient Rus’, St. Dmitry cathedral dating back to the period prior to the country’s invasion by the Mongols, and the Assumption cathedral – the masterpiece of a white-stone architecture which boasts frescoes by Andrey Rublyov, and many other.
